Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist for Critical Care/Trauma on the evenings. The role provides decentralized clinical pharmacy services across trauma service and ICU units, with a focus on optimizing medication therapy and ensuring safe patient care.

The ICU team includes ~25 pharmacists; duties include rounds, order verification, education, and continual learning. Work schedule is 1:00pm-9:30pm with one holiday per year.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Post-graduate residency/fellowship required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide decentralized clinical pharmacy services across trauma and surgical ICU.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and verify medication orders.
• Collaborate with providers and pharmacy colleagues to optimize therapy.
• Educate pharmacists, technicians, and trainees in pharmacotherapy.
