Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist for the Critical Care/Trauma service at the Main Campus in Cleveland. The role involves decentralized clinical pharmacy care across trauma services and ICU coverage, with opportunities to contribute to multidisciplinary rounds and patient safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have PharmD or equivalent, PGY2 in critical care or related experience, and current licensure.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or a PharmD/Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist or eligible within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Board-certified or PGY2/PGY1 with relevant experience in critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide decentralized clinical pharmacy services across the trauma service and coverage in ICU units.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and verify medication orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and pharmacy colleagues to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient safety.
• Educate staff and trainees in pharmacotherapy within critical care.
