The role includes active participation in daily multidisciplinary rounds, leading pharmacotherapy initiatives, and mentoring pharmacy students and residents, with duties spanning education and quality
Qualifications
- Pharmacy degree required or equivalent
- Current Ohio pharmacist license required
- Residency training preferred for critical care or emergency medicine
- Advanced-level certifications welcomed
Responsabilités
- Dispenses and compounds medications and provides drug therapy-related devices.
- Reviews provider orders for correct drug choice, dosage and interactions; clarifies as needed.
- Precepts students and residents; provides education to pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Leads safety, stewardship, and medication-use initiatives across site(s) with a focus on quality and patient outcomes.
