Job summary

Bethesda Gardens Thornton is seeking QMAPs to provide safe medication administration and compassionate care in our assisted living and memory care community. Evening shifts are available, with full-time and part-time options.

You will support residents with daily living activities, communicate with families and health professionals, document changes, and help maintain a respectful, dignified environment that enhances residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, staff, and families.
• Compassion and genuine care for the elderly and disabled.
• Knowledge of SDS sheets and hazardous materials guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize emergencies as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Sets up medications and passes them to residents following policies and procedures.
• Performs narcotic counts at shift start and end.
• Maintains MAR accuracy and coordinates medication orders with pharmacy.
• Admits new residents and assists with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintains resident dignity and safety during care and transport.
