The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Wright School in Durham, seeks an Evening Teaching Assistant to provide direct services, instructional support and implement a therapeutic behavior management system for children who may display challenging behavior. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human services or related field, or
• High school diploma/GED with two years of related experience, or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services and instructional support.
• Implement therapeutic behavior management system.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to assess child behavior and plan treatments.
• Crisis intervention and language/communication modelling as needed.
