Job summary

Aspiranet's Hope Forward Campus in Turlock, CA is hiring a Youth Counselor II (Therapeutic Youth Counselor II) for the on-site residential program. The role provides care and supervision to youth, supports daily routines, and delivers trauma-informed, strength-based interventions in a therapeutic community.

The position requires a BS/BA in a related field or equivalent experience, and offers evening shifts Tuesday to Saturday; compensation ranges from $23.50 to $25.00 per hour with full-time,

Qualifications

• A BS or BA degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or a related field, OR two full-time equivalent years of behavioral health experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook; ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a new facility focused on healing and innovation.
• Engage youth individually and in groups as part of daily routines.
• Lead therapeutic activities and assist with crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized environment and complete required documentation.
• Ensure medication distribution is compliant and accurately recorded.
