Job summary

Aspiranet in Antioch, CA seeks a Youth Specialist to join our Family and Community Services team. The role focuses on care and supervision of youth, implementing service plans, and coordinating with nurses and social workers to support family stability and healthy child development.

Responsibilities include completing youth screenings, maintaining documentation, and transporting youth as needed, with a schedule Friday through Tuesday evenings and an on-site work environment in Contra Costa

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in social work, psychology or related field with 1 year experience in a child welfare or behavioral health field with children with complex trauma and resultant challenging behaviors.
• Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance
• TB/Health physical; Valid driver's license with clean driving record and proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Care and supervision of youth at the Receiving Center.
• Complete youth screenings and implement youth service and safety plans.
• One-on-one with youth using interventions for identified behaviors and medication administration.
• Documentation in the database within established timelines and transporting youth as needed.
• Liaison with public health nurse and county social workers; maintain the center site.
