Zusammenfassung

Cornerstones of Care is seeking a Manager of Youth Care Specialists at the Ozanam Campus in Kansas City, MO. You will supervise Youth Care Specialists, coordinate day respite and after-hours placements, and help manage transportation and safety for youth.

Required: a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Education, Counseling, or Psychology and at least two years in the Child Welfare arena; one year of Kansas case management is also required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Education, Counseling, or Psychology which includes the equivalent of 30 semester hours in either human development/human behavior, child development, family intervention techniques, diagnostic measures, or therapeutic techniques such as social work, psychology, sociology, guidance/counseling, and child development, and at least two years of work experience in the Child Welfare arena.
• 1 year of Kansas case management experience is required.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Education, Counseling, or Psychology and two years experience in the child welfare arena with at least 6 months of Kansas case management experience. Licensure by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board is preferred.

Aufgaben

• The Youth Care Managers supervise Youth Care Specialists and coordinate day respite, after-hours placements, transportation, and supervision of youth.
• Ensure coverage of the after-hours emergency line, triaging calls, problem-solving, and coordinating tasks such as searches and parent outreach.
• Develop staff through training and coaching.
