• Desire for Associate’s Degree in Human Services or related field.
• One year of related work experience preferred.
• Must maintain forty hours of training per year.
• Ability to respond to cultural differences in service population.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide residents through daily routines.
• Counsel residents in social interaction and self-care.
• Oversee homework and study periods for residents.
• Prepare meals and monitor resident behavior during meals.
• Document and chart resident performance and behavior.
• Participate in recreational and creative arts therapy.
• Supervise self-administration of medications.
• Drive and escort residents to appointments.
