Job summary

Chestnut Labs in Frederick, MD seeks an experienced truck driver to move trailers, perform pre/post trip inspections, and support shipping and receiving in the yard. You will main tain logs, handle loads, and help keep the yard orderly.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class A (tanker endorsement if needed), High School Diploma or equivalent, DOT knowledge, and a clean motor vehicle record. Schedule Tue-Sat 4pm–12am; EOE including Disabled/Veterans.

Qualifications

• Must meet DOT transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to operate yard equipment safely and communicate effectively.
• English reading/writing proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Move and position trailers to optimize dock and yard efficiency.
• Hook/unhook and maneuver trucks around the service area and dock.
• Spot loads for loading/unloading at assigned docks.
• Maintain accurate trailer and inventory movement logs.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Ensure area is sanitary and clean; wash exterior when needed.
• Complete sales route deliveries or over-the-road routes as required.
• Adhere to DFA Quality, Safety, DOT and GMP policies; report incidents.
