Valley Health System (New Jersey) is seeking an X-ray Technician to perform radiologic procedures and document in the EMR per regulatory guidelines. The role involves maintaining equipment, logs and licenses, and supporting clinic workflow while delivering courteous patient care.

Ideal candidates will have formal radiologic technology education, NJ licensure, ARRT certification preferred, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology coursework completed
• Must have passed ARRT examination within 6 months
• Current/state license to practice radiology in New Jersey & ARRT certification preferred
• BCLS certification required; strong patient-service orientation
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for a high-functioning radiology team

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray procedures and document accurately in EMR per licensure guidelines
• Maintain logs and licensing as required by state and Board Examiners
• Manage supplies and equipment; ensure proper workflow with staff
• Support and assist other practice activities as necessary
• Demonstrate courteous, caring, respectful patient interaction and confidentiality
