The position requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience. Hours are 4pm–9pm, with duties spanning payroll backup, reports, and staff support.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma, vocational certificate, or GED.
• Experience: 1 year in education, childcare, or related field preferred.
• Language Skills: Reads and comprehends simple instructions and writes simple notes.
• Mathematical Skills: Performs basic arithmetic with money and measurements.
• Reasoning Ability: Follows simple instructions and handles concrete tasks.
• Computer Skills: Knowledge of basic computer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Registers adult education students and conducts testing.
• Supports payroll, bookkeeping, and financial aid backup at CTAE offices and sites.
• Prepares reports, payroll, travel, and maintenance requests as directed.
• Acts as main substitute for adult education teachers.
• Monitors instructional platforms and assists with behavior management.
• Provides entry-level assessments for CTAE students.
• Operates basic computer tools to support student achievement.
• Maintains supplies inventory and handles telephone messages.
• Maintains childcare credentials and family literacy program duties as assigned.
• Assists with staff development training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
