Job summary

The Illinois Welding School is seeking a 2nd Shift Pipe Welder who can also teach. You will instruct in SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and GMAW on plate and pipe in all positions, while maintaining a clean, well‑organized welding shop. You must read and follow blueprints and welding symbols and mentor students to develop hands-on skills.

Responsibilities

• We Provide quality instruction for the 18+ year-old student population.
• Teaching the full range of classes in SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW on plate and pipe in all positions.
• Maintaining a clean, well-organized welding shop.
• You must be able to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, welding symbols, and pipefitting materials.
