Job summary

Maplewood Career Center is seeking a Part-time Evening Welding Instructor to provide instruction to adults in Welding. The role involves teaching in a group or individually, adjusting the curriculum, and working evening hours from 5:45 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years of work experience and a high school diploma. Welding Certifications are preferred. The position offers a pay of $25 per hour and contributes to STRS pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Welding Certification(s) preferred; weld test required.
• Desire to work with adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to adults in Welding.
• Teach in group setting or individually.
• Create or adjust curriculum to meet class needs.
• Attend yearly Maplewood Advisory Board meeting.
• Teach in class or lab setting.
