Camden County College is seeking a Temporary Part-time Instructor for Welding to teach evening classes Monday–Thursday, 6:30pm–10:30pm. Training is held at Camden County Technical School in Sicklerville, NJ.

The role delivers hands-on laboratory and classroom instruction, develops lesson plans, and maintains equipment and inventories to prepare students for entry-level welding careers. The candidate should have 5 years of welding experience, a high school diploma or GED, OSHA 10 certification,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding field.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Proficient written communication for reports and evaluations.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong verbal communication for classroom instruction.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction aligned with the curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans to support outcomes and workforce readiness.
• Organize and maintain instructional materials, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, including grading and attendance.
• Provide timely feedback on performance and participation.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards and compliance in daily instruction.
• Communicate with staff regarding student progress.
• Model professionalism and contribute to a positive culture.
