Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent credits, certifications, or experience for welding instruction.
• Six years of MIG, TIG, and ARC welding experience; at least two years teaching or four years supervisory experience.
• Preferred: experience with educationally and economically disadvantaged adults; OSHA trainer and AWS Welding Inspector credentials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classes in theory and practice for shielding metal arc, pipe, aluminum, stainless steel, and related welding processes.
• Prepare students for AWS and NYS DOT certifications and evening classes.
• Utilize instructional services guidelines and support diverse adult learners.
