Job summary

Vistar is hiring for a 2nd shift role with a Sunday-Thursday schedule, starting at 4pm. You will select cases, palletize, and prepare orders for shipment using a pallet jack/forklift, working in multi-temperature environments including freezers.

Pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour plus incentives, with Day 1 health benefits and other company programs. The position requires lifting up to 80 lbs, standing and walking for long periods, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6-12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Lift and stack 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from multi-level warehouse storage.
• Move orders to loading dock staging area using pallet jack/forklift and prepare for shipment.
• Follow safety policies and ensure a safe work area; report hazards.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Transport palletized orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap if required.
• Complete shift paperwork and safety checks; secure equipment at end of shift.
