Job summary

Compcare is seeking dedicated staff to provide daily supervision, supportive counseling, and help with daily living activities for consumers. You will observe and educate on medication use, and organize social, recreational, and therapeutic programs within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

Shifts include weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 12:30 AM to 8:30 AM, with competitive pay at $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• BSW in social work or BA/BS in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or related field.
• BA in an unrelated field with two years of previous experience.
• AA in a related field with two years of previous experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and supportive counseling to consumers.
• Assist with activities of daily living skills.
• Monitor consumer self-administration of prescribed medications and provide education.
• Facilitate social, recreational, and therapeutic activities with consumers.
• Utilize crisis intervention skills as required.
