Job summary

The City of Moorpark seeks a Parks and Facilities Attendant to help keep City parks and facilities safe, clean, and well maintained. You will attend to parks, perform custodial duties, assist with events, and support city staff on evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the public.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• General safety procedures and custodial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff support to supervisor and lead worker.
• Work weekends, evenings, and holidays as assigned.
• Monitor park users and rentals for compliance with rules and agreements.
• Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for activities and events; assist with rentals and programs.
• Lock, unlock, and secure parks and facilities as required.
• Perform custodial duties and basic maintenance tasks.
