Job summary

Summit Building Services is seeking a part-time janitorial worker in Mansfield, OH. The position involves cleaning an office building, including private offices, conference rooms, and kitchen areas, with a 3-hour weekly schedule (1.5 hours after 6pm on Wednesdays and 1.5 hours after 1pm on Saturdays or Sundays).

Pay is $15.00 hourly. Reliable transportation is required, and you must pass a drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• You must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete job specifications for assigned buildings.
• Clean offices and common areas: disinfect desks and tabletops, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, etc.
• Clean floors: dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and pick up larger objects off the floor.
• Clean restrooms: restock dispensers, empty trash, clean and sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, spot clean partition doors and walls, sweep and mop tile floors, clean toilets and urinals.
• Others: empty trash cans and replace liners, spot clean glass and windows, dust vents and other hard to reach places as needed.
• Maintain equipment and order supplies.
• Maintain organization of assigned areas: keep clean and dirty laundry separate and janitor’s closet clean.
• Use the communication book to request consumables and share relevant facility information.
• Communicate with Area Manager regarding timekeeping, supplies, client requests, and other issues.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
