Job summary

Iroquois Skilled Nursing Community is seeking a part-time receptionist to cover evenings and every-other weekend. You will welcome visitors and guests, answer phones, refer inquiries, and direct people with clear instructions, maintaining a courteous front-desk presence.

The role includes light clerical duties such as sorting mail, processing packages, accepting guest meals and payments, and supporting security procedures.

Qualifications

• Healthcare reception experience preferred.
• Ability to handle PHI following privacy rules.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Evening and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors/guests and answer inquiries by phone or in person.
• Administer visitor passes and maintain the log.
• Direct visitors with clear instructions and monitor security.
• Sort resident mail and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
• Input PHI into EMR and process scans for HIM review.
