Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Food Service Worker at McDaniel College. This role requires nights and weekends. The team focuses on quality ingredients, attentive service, and value, with a strong culture and growth opportunities across the organization.

Responsibilities include food preparation, station setup, guest interaction, and maintaining clean, compliant work areas. Previous food service experience is preferred and professionalism across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Professional communication with team and other departments.
• Maintain professional relationships with teammates, vendors, supervisors, managers, customers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods and store properly.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments and utensils.
• Interact with guests in serving, retail and dining areas.
• Follow guest service procedures: smile, eye contact and greeting.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following rules.
• Maintain a fast pace and multitask across duties.
