Job summary

Alljoined is building a future where human neural signals are decoded through non-invasive technology. As a Research Technician, you will work with participants to run neural data collection sessions with precision, ensuring datasets meet quality standards for cutting-edge research.

Location: On-site in SoMa, San Francisco. Shifts: Weekdays 4 pm–9 pm with weekend flexibility. Hands-on EEG hardware work, data quality ownership, and clear, collaborative communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of hands-on EEG hardware experience in research or clinical settings.
• Meticulous about data quality and daily/weekly data collection throughput targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills to keep participants calm, focused, and engaged during sessions.
• Experience logging, tracking, and reporting technical events affecting data integrity.
• Ability to troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks and act quickly under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up participants and configure experiments.
• Monitor live EEG signal quality and data collection status.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues during sessions.
• Provide clear handoffs and communication to the team after sessions.
