Job summary

Alljoined is seeking a Research Technician to work on neural data collection sessions at our SoMa, San Francisco site. You will set up participants, configure experiments, monitor live EEG signals, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality data for cutting-edge research.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years of hands-on EEG experience, strong data-quality discipline, and excellent communication to coordinate with the team and participants during evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years hands-on EEG hardware operation in research/clinical setting.
• Meticulous about data quality and meeting throughput targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills to keep participants calm, focused and engaged.
• Experience logging hardware faults and environmental interference affecting data integrity.
• Ability to troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up participants for sessions.
