Job summary

Era Living is seeking part-time Resident Assistants (CNA/NAC/HCA/NAR) to join our Community Health team at the Lakeshore Community, South Seattle/Renton, WA. Shifts are Friday & Saturday 2:00PM–10:30PM or Sunday & Monday 2:00PM–10:30PM.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aide Certification required.
• Dementia and Mental Health training within 90 days of hire.
• Current first aid and CPR certification required.
• Possess Medication Technician certification or obtain within 30 days of hire as required by community.
• Food Handler’s Certificate or obtain within 14 days of hire.
• Two years’ experience working with seniors preferred.
• One year experience caregiving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transferring, toileting and feeding) to residents in licensed apartments.
• Communicate effectively with residents, including those with cognitive impairment and mental health issues.
• Assist residents with self-medications as required.
• Provide simple housekeeping tasks and maintain tidy apartments per protocol.
