Job summary

The Salvation Army Tucson is seeking a Play Care Attendant I for our Children’s Clubhouse Play Care Center. This part-time, on-site role requires a 3:00pm–7:00pm shift with Saturday availability, focusing on the safety, care and wellbeing of children.

Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, following safety policies, and maintaining a clean play area while following center procedures. CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have at least one year of successful experience working with children.
• Provide documentation of Infant/Child CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to pass City of Coeur d’Alene Criminal History Background Check as well as TSA Child Safety background clearance.
• Must attend TSA Child Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service to the community; ensure prompt and courteous service to all customers, clients, and members.
• Follow all Child Safety policies and procedures.
• Relate joyfully and sensitively to children of all ages.
• Maintain supervision and safety of children at all times.
• Operate Kid Check and Traction Rec systems and secure Kid Check at close of shift.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the Play Care Area.
• Adhere to Salvation Army policies and procedures.
