Job summary

Midway Chevrolet in Phoenix is seeking a weekend/evening part-time Receptionist to handle calls, greet customers, and support daily office tasks. You’ll use Microsoft Office and maintain a professional, friendly demeanor to ensure excellent customer experiences.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork, with responsibilities spanning phone management, information gathering, and administrative support in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Consistent and stable work history.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.

• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in an efficient, professional, friendly and courteous manner.
• Operate a heavy switchboard telephone system to receive incoming and outgoing calls, determine the nature of the call and direct the caller to the appropriate person or department.
• Answer basic questions and general inquiries and take thorough messages.
• Learn computer software and adapt to new technology.
• Assist with filing duties and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain a positive and ethical working relationship with all employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors and customers.
• Maintain superior customer service (CSI) through dealership culture.
• Set an example of professionalism through actions and appearance.
