Job summary

Complete Care at Willow Creek in New Jersey is seeking a friendly Recreation Aide. You will plan and run activities for residents, help with daily events, and support a warm, engaging atmosphere within the facility.

The role requires a high school diploma, energy, empathy, and teamwork; prior long-term care experience is welcome but not required. Computer basic skills are helpful for calendars and activity tracking.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience in long-term care is welcome but not required.
• Must be energetic, creative, empathetic and a team player.
• Basic computer skills for calendars and activity tracking.

Responsibilities

• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate with nursing as needed.
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
