Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for the B shift (Mon-Fri 3:30 PM–12:00 AM) at our Chattanooga facility. You will supervise freight handlers, manage daily operations, and ensure accurate documentation and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in logistics or related fields and 3–5 years of supervisory freight experience. Proficiency with WMS/TMS and strong leadership are essential to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in freight operations or logistics roles, with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of freight handlers and operational staff.
Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure efficient operations.
Coordinate loading, unloading, and handling of freight shipments.
Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and packaging in regulatory compliance.
Plan and prioritize freight operations to meet customer demands and deadlines.
Monitor workflow and adjust resources to optimize efficiency.
Liaise with customers, carriers, and stakeholders to coordinate movements and address inquiries.
Ensure timely communication and resolution of customer concerns.
Enforce safety protocols and provide guidance on handling techniques.
Oversee inventory control, including stock management and cycle counts.
Prepare operational reports, including performance metrics and incident reports.
