Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Warehouse Associate - Splitter for the North Kingstown, RI distribution center. This second-shift role involves distributing merchandise onto pallets, utilizing RF scanners, and building pallets for shipping in a fast-paced DC environment.

You will operate a pallet jack and wrapping machine, verify case packs, and ensure safety and productivity standards are met. Lifting up to 50 lbs and working the 3:30 PM–12:00 AM shift are required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Ability to work a second shift in a fast-paced DC environment.
• Willingness to learn RF scanning and operating powered equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete and submit daily productivity sheets.
• Split merchandise and build shippable pallets per guidelines.
• Operate pallet jack and wrapping equipment to prepare pallets.
• Transport pallets to shipping lanes and follow audit-control procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with SOPs and OSHA.
