Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Alabama to handle inbound/outbound processes and ensure timely, accurate product movement. You will operate RF scanners, palletize goods, and rotate through Inbound, ValueLink, and Outbound areas in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long shifts, and the ability to work overtime with short notice. Safety compliance and willingness to learn new equipment are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 - 2 years related experience preferred
• Previous material handling equipment experience (MHE) preferred
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred
• Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs and bend/reach/stoop/stand for 8+ hours
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice
• Willingness to learn to operate MHE and rotate areas of the warehouse
• Work at heights up to 25 feet consistently
• Adherence to site safety regulations and PPE requirements
• Aptitude to work in a fast paced distribution environment with quotas and performance standards

Responsibilities

• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas including Inbound, ValueLink and Outbound
• Receive large boxes on dock, scan product with RF scanner, input information into the computer
• Break down cases and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse
• Palletize large items to skid and wrap for shipment
• Pack small items in boxes
• Drive material handling equipment such as order picker, forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider
