Checksammy Inc. is seeking a highly observant and detail-oriented Warehouse Security Officer to protect employees, facilities, and assets in a non-firearm security position. The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, documentation, and routine security procedures within a warehouse environment.

The position operates on second shift, Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, requiring dependable, professional, and independent work with a strong security presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong observation and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and security monitoring systems.
• Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV camera systems and investigate suspicious activity.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior security perimeter patrols.
• Perform security wand screenings as employees and visitors enter or exit the facility.
• Ensure all doors, gates, docks, and access points are properly secured at the end of each shift.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports and security documentation.
• Monitor employee and visitor access while enforcing company security procedures.
• Respond promptly to security concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Identify safety hazards and security risks and report them immediately.
• Assist with loss prevention efforts and help deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the warehouse.
