Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Support for daily operations in Des Moines, IA. The role supports warehouse and transportation tasks, parks and fuels vehicles, covers routes as needed, and helps keep freight moving through the yard.

Qualified applicants are 21+, hold a valid driver's license with a good record, and may have 1+ year leadership or transportation experience. OT is paid time-and-a-half after 40 hours; starting pay is $25.00 per hour, up to $31.75 based on

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• 1+ year of leadership and transportation industry experience preferred.
• DOT physical exam ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in parking and fueling vehicles.
• Cover routes when needed.
• Ensure trailer cuts are made for timely delivery.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and management to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage security of the yard and building.
• Assist in stacking and sorting to keep freight flowing.
• Ability to cover various shifts.
• Perform other required duties as assigned.
