Job summary

Byrne is seeking a Warehouse Operator for its Cortland, NY facility, working 6pm–6:30am on an on-site basis. The role focuses on packing, labeling, inventory transfers, and preparing shipping documents for outbound freight.

The position requires operating palletizing equipment and forklifts, using the Inventory Management System, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a startup warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior PIT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate palletizing equipment and conveyor lines to maintain production flow.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain quality.
• Use Inventory Management System handheld scanners to track inventory.
• Safely operate forklifts and other MHE per safety policies.
• Assist with workload during breaks and training periods.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report hazards immediately.
• Support startup activities and process improvements in a new warehouse facility.
