Job summary

Collectors is expanding its Jersey City operation and seeking an Operations Associate to handle receiving, encapsulation, quality control, and shipping of trading cards, comics, event tickets, coins and memorabilia. You will report to the Operations Supervisor and work Monday through Friday on site, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

You must have strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Open, separate, and itemize department’s mail by service type.
Match, count, and check items.
Verify service type with payment and verify its eligibility.
Enter item information into the database and print stickers with order details.
Work with Customer Service and Problem Orders to resolve issues.
Coordinate with Sales for orders with special deals/pricing.
Encapsulate and seal trading cards, comic books, event tickets, coins and other items.
Inspect assembled parts for defects and deviations.
Sort all orders by return carrier service.
Package orders and attach labels.
Process shipping for specified carrier and close orders.
Safely handle valuable merchandise and ensure security throughout the process.
