Job summary

Graybar in Tampa, FL is seeking a Service Center Warehouse Material Handler to receive, store, select, pack and ship warehouse inventory. The role requires working with a Warehouse Management System and adhering to safety practices.

This position supports the employee-owned culture with opportunities for growth. Typical shift is Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–10:00pm, with pay starting at $18.19 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• No fear of heights.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Minimum age of 18 required.
• Strong attendance and work ethic.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• Prior large warehouse experience with WMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse; follow safety procedures and perform daily safety inspections.
