Job summary

Vistar is hiring a Loader Formula to move goods through our distribution centers safely and efficiently. You will operate forklifts or pallet jacks, load trailers, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include locating trailer slots, securing loads, keeping the dock area clean, and assisting other team members. Experience in warehouse work and ability to lift up to 90 pounds are required; overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to lift 10–35 pounds and generally up to 60–90 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand according to loading plan.
• Locates the proper slot on the trailer for the order, secures the load when complete.
• Removes empty pallets and packaging to proper area; maintains a clean loading dock and trailers.
• Performs general housekeeping and follows safety policies.
• Inspects equipment and reports unsafe conditions; completes vehicle inspection checklist.
