Job summary

Westavenuecompassion is seeking a Warehouse Loader to assemble pallets for bulk and route trucks. You will use a forklift or pallet jack, ensure load accuracy, and follow shipper/receiver docs while maintaining safety and cleanliness in varying conditions.

The role requires heavy lifting, standing, and long shifts with attention to inventory and load integrity, with daily responsibilities across loading, unloading, and staging pallets for trucks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience with racking and pallet loading/unloading.
• Able to work in varying weather and hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet or voice pick audio equipment.
• Mark load ticket for out of stock items
• Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished
• Turn in paper work with order for check before loading and have truck checked
• Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready
• Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
