Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a safety‑minded warehouse associate to join a strong team in Glen Burnie, MD. You will support routine operations and provide guidance to regular and temporary staff, ensuring productivity targets are met.

The role involves staging, loading/unloading, inventory control, and forklift operation. Candidates should have warehouse experience and the ability to train new hires; valid forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4 years of warehouse experience required.
• 2 years of inventory or materials management experience preferred.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior forklift certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage and sort products for loading.
• Loads and unloads trailers.
• Executes & provides process & project visibility to Operations Supervisor.
• Train all new hires on daily job functions.
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Quality control.
• Complete daily logs/Reports.
• Communicate with associates from other shifts.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
