Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Irving, TX is seeking a part-time evening package handler to move packages, documents and goods using scan/load methods in a safe, timely manner. This is a non-driving role working evenings with base pay of $20.00 per hour.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, walk and stand for shift durations, and work in a noisy environment. Drug screening and criminal check are required; valid driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level.
• Able to work in all weather conditions if required at work location.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support in a timely, safe and efficient manner through scan/load methods.
• This is a non-driving position (public roadways).
