Job summary

FedEx is seeking a part-time handler in Florida. The role runs Monday–Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with base pay of $17.70 per hour. This non-driving position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking during shifts, and the ability to operate in a noise-filled, fast-paced environment. Training and safety requirements apply.

Applicants must be able to maneuver packages, use appropriate equipment, and perform duties as assigned in a timely and safe manner.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance from the ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.
• Able to work in all weather conditions if required at work location.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.
• Able to successfully complete all basic and currency training.

Responsibilities

• Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support in a timely, safe and efficient manner through effective scan/load methods.
• This is a non-driving position (public roadways).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
