Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Cowpens, SC is seeking a General Manager III for the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) to oversee warehouse operations and drive efficiency.

You will lead Operations Managers and staff, manage P&L, ensure safety, implement WMS (Manhattan) and process improvements, and maintain strong customer relationships.

This role requires 5+ years of managerial experience, 2+ years in warehousing, and a Bachelor's degree; a national salary range of $95,000 - $120,000 applies with benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics preferred.
• Staff management experience required.
• P&L management preferred.
• Project management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and coach a team of Operations Managers and staff; build a strong, compliant culture.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company policies.
• Utilize WMS, automation, and technology to track inventory and performance metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective services.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and oversee the site’s P&L.
