Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Facilities I worker to perform housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain a safe and clean environment for employees and customers. The role follows an evening shift from Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of $18.45 per hour.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, restocking supplies, and logging tasks. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least six months of related experience, with strict adherence to PPE and MSDS procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of six months experience in a related field
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to priorities
• Knowledge of floor care and cleaning chemicals preferred
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Compliance with PPE requirements
• Ability to read MSDS and locate MSDS books

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of the building, including trash removal, sweeping and mopping in restrooms and break room, vacuuming offices and showroom
• Restock supplies in restrooms and break room as needed
• Maintain a daily log of tasks assigned and completed
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards
