Hillman is hiring for 2nd shift Warehouse Cherry Picker Operators in Kansas City, MO. Typical schedule is 3:30pm-1:00am Monday-Thursday and 12:30pm-5:30pm Friday, with hourly pay of $20.50 plus shift differential. The role requires operating various powered industrial equipment and ensuring timely material flow.

You will load/unload trucks, use RF scanners, stock shelves, and support replenishment at workstations while maintaining safety standards and reporting issues to supervision.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Able to read and follow verbal and written instructions.

Job Summary

Scheduled Hours: 3:30pm - 1:00am (Monday - Thursday) & 12:30pm - 5:30pm (Friday)

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.50 + Shift Differential

Supports Operations by moving materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility with a variety of powered industrial equipment.

Essential Job Functions *

• Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Material handling experience is strongly preferred.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
• Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work Environment Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required. Physical Demands Material Handler: Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
