Cardinal Health in Portland, OR is seeking a Cherry Picker Operator for the 2nd shift. The role involves inbound/outbound warehouse activities, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment using standard procedures and equipment including cherry pickers.

Responsibilities include operating various material handling equipment, maintaining safety and quality standards, and collaborating with team leads. Overtime may be required; an hourly rate of $23.50 applies with shift differential.

Competenze

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• RF scanner and/or voice-picking experience highly preferred.
• Overtime with little to no advance notice.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with Order Selector / cherry picker equipment (PIT) preferred.
• Comfort working with heights 20–30 feet regularly.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Adhere to site safety rules and PPE requirements.

Mansioni

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Pick large case items with equipment or pick small units and place on designated cart.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (order picker/cherry picker, forklift, reach turret, pallet jack, walkie rider).
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Handle routine tasks with problem resolution and escalate as needed.
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
• Follow OSHA standards and company policies.
