Job summary

Morrison Express is seeking a warehouse admin to support daily inbound and outbound cargo handling in Compton, CA. You will verify pre-alert data, manage dock availability, and liaise with the CS team to ensure timely loads and accurate paperwork.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, good organizational skills, and knowledge of inventory software. Weekend or holiday shifts may be required as operations demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; basic math skills.
• General warehousing knowledge and physical stamina.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; forklift experience is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with inventory and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Process all inbound/outbound cargo and trucks daily.
• Verify and compare information from pre-alerts.
• Update warehouse board to control docks doors and availability.
• Liaison between warehouse office and CS department.
• Provide updates through emails and timely responses on requests for ongoing loads.
• Verify, process and label freight for imports or exports.
• Record and report damaged merchandise; enter data in WMS.
• Assist in cycle/inventory counts and reconcile paperwork.
• Maintain safe, compliant and organized warehouse environment.
