Job summary

Morrison Cup Solutions, a fast-growing Oklahoma City-based foodservice packaging company, seeks a Warehouse & Yard Associate to support the Foam Department and warehouse operations.

The role is heavy on warehouse tasks (75%) with extensive walking and forklift work, plus transporting product between two onsite locations. First shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm; occasional overtime; no weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver license and a clear MVR.
• Minimum 1 year of yard jockey/warehouse experience.
• Minimum 2 years of sit-down forklift, spotter truck, manual pallet jack, and auto pallet jack experience.
• Ability to drive and back 53' trailers safely.
• Comfort with extensive walking and heavy physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Handle heavy warehouse work with constant movement and loading/unloading materials.
• Operate forklifts to load/unload from trailers and storage areas.
• Drive between two onsite locations to move product and materials.
• Move trailers to and from loading docks and parking spots.

Job description

We are looking for a hardworking, dependable person with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support the Foam Department of Morrison Cup Solutions.

This is a heavy warehouse-focused role, with approximately 75% of the position dedicated to warehouse operations, including extensive walking, loading and unloading product, forklift operation, and material handling throughout the shift.

The remaining portion of the role will involve transporting product between two onsite locations. Candidates must be comfortable driving and maneuvering trailers and must know how to safely back up a 53' trailer. This is a first shift position with hours from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required. No weekends. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Warehouse Operations - Heavy warehouse work involving constant movement throughout the facility, loading and unloading materials, staging product, organizing inventory, and supporting daily warehouse activities
• Forklift Operation - Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and storage areas safely and efficiently
• Product Transfers - Drive between two onsite company locations to move product and materials as needed
• Trailer Movement - Safely move trailers to and from loading docks, staging areas, and parking spots within the yard
• Inventory Management - Assist with inventory control by accurately recording material movements and ensuring proper storage
• Safety Compliance - Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
• Equipment Maintenance - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
• Collaboration - Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to coordinate yard and warehouse activities

The Warehouse & Yard Associate must possess the following qualities:

• Dependable (must be at work on time)
• Must have a valid driver license & Clear MVR
• Must have at least 1 year of yard jockey and warehouse experience
• Must have at least 2 years of sit down forklift, spotter truck, manual pallet jack and auto pallet jack experience
• Must be able to drive a yard dog and back 53' trailers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions
• Must be able to stand or walk up to 10 hours per day
• Must be comfortable with extensive walking, loading, unloading, and physical warehouse labor throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to climb in and out of trailers safely
