Job summary

United States Cold Storage Inc in Arlington, TX, is hiring for a full-time warehouse position on a night-shift schedule. The role involves loading/unloading trailers, checking shipments, and ensuring proper temperature-controlled storage, with shifts Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

The ideal candidate can operate a forklift, use scanners, and perform inventory tasks, while maintaining safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced cold environment.

Qualifications

• Previous high reach forklift and/or warehouse training.
• Able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs regularly; stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers and verify proper stacking and freight not being mixed on pallets.
• Check shipments for damage, infestations and dates; report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Identify and recover any received or shipping damage; report shortages and overages.
• Assist in physical inventories with scanners; ensure proper stock rotation.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring correct lot numbers and locations.
• Operate forklift and other equipment; perform daily safety checks.
