This warehouse role involves receiving copper and aluminum wire shipments, cutting wire to spec, labeling and storing materials, maintaining inventory records in the WMS, and coordinating with shipping to ensure on-time deliveries. Evening shift with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work OT during busy periods.
• Basic computer system knowledge.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming copper and aluminum wire shipments and verify their quantity and quality.
• Use wire cutting equipment to accurately cut wire to specified lengths, following product specifications.
• Receive, inspect, store, and pick electrical materials including conduit, PVC, channel, and cable tray.
• Ensure proper labeling of tag number, organization, and storage of the materials for easy retrieval.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS transactions including footage marking management.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishing the inventory as needed.
• Inspect wire cuts and materials for quality and accuracy, reporting any defects or discrepancies.
• Maintain a high standard of quality assurance throughout the handling process.
• Prepare materials for outbound shipments including picking, packing, shipping labels, packing lists, and staging.
• Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, coilers, spoolers, compartments, and A-frames.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• All other duties assigned.
