Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a part-time, second-shift role (3p–11p) three days a week, with a rotating MWF / Tu Th Sat schedule and occasional overnight coverage. The position requires on-call backup and at least one holiday per year.

Eligible for certification in RDMS, RVT, or ARRT (S) and BLS. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensuring patient safety, and mentoring junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations and produce diagnostic images.
• Properly position patients and operate PACS/RIS for data and billing.
• May mentor less senior technologists.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards.
